Now, I don't mean as a child; but rather as a young adult. You know, once you had actually experienced life a little bit and attained a grasp on your likes and dislikes. It's not an insult by any means, but I think it's imperative in life to do something you love in order to be happy. Of course it doesn't have to pay 400 grand a year, but it obviously has to pay the monthly bills. I personally do not even think everyone needs to attend college. It's truly hard to determine how some career choices will pan out. I think the key is determination and being good at what you do. Another friend of mine manages restaurant. He is in his mid-thirties and has been in this business for two decade. Although he lacks a bachelor's degree, he makes a good 80 grand a year. In short, that's not bad for a high school education. I can remember back when I was in college and worked as a bartender. I soon found out that one could make a living doing this. I would definitely stick it in the good jobs without college degrees category. I cleared 800 a week, only working three days. That's better than what you're going to make at a fast food joint. Furthermore, my close friend who bartended in a popular dance club made about three times what I did then. That's pretty decent money to say the least.
